Are you a Code 42 CrashPlan subscriber for home data backup service? If so, you need to investigate alternative providers for data backup service. CrashPlan announced this week that effective August 22, 2017, Code42 will no longer offer new – or renew – CrashPlan for Home subscriptions. Over the next several months, the product will be decommissioned entirely.  The entire CrashPlan Home product will no longer be available starting October 23, 2018.

Code42 has announced that in addition to honoring existing subscriptions, all existing subscriptions will be extended by 60 days. This gives you extra time to find a new data backup service.
